Built on Trust, Tradition and Skill

Our story began in 1986. Founder and president, Chi Yau Lam (known as Mr. Lam), immigrated to Hong Kong and completed a four-year apprenticeship at a print shop.

In 1990, Lam immigrated to the United States and worked at a New York print shop for five years. In 1995, he and his wife opened Candid Bindery on Manhattan’s 9th Avenue, now Chelsea Market.

From the start, Lam personally trained every pre-press technician on our team. Many have been with us for nearly 20 years, bringing consistency, experience and a shared commitment to excellence.
